I’ve collected these awesome resources for photographers of all skill levels!  Why?  Because I believe that photographing stuff for your blog shouldn’t be that difficult.  And, I promise you, you don’t need a bachelor’s degree in photography to get stunning blog photos.  All it takes is a bit of practice.

And before you say, hey, June, photography is EXPENSIVE … I’m a total cheapskate.  I hate buying photo gear, and I hate carrying photo gear even more.  I’ve always got my eye on the bottom line.  That’s why I packed this 100+ BLOGGING PHOTOGRAPHY RESOURCES guide full of lots of STUFF.

Joe Paw and I would love to share our photographing journey with you!  I promise not to spam you, and you can remove yourself from my email newsletter at any time.

And, if you want me to create a tutorial for you, please let me know!  I want to create an awesome resource for you!

General Awesome Sauce of Photography Resources

Creative Market – Creative Market has tons of photographs, fonts, templates, and even Photoshop stuff like palettes and plug-ins. The stuff is all priced individually, which is great if you are looking for something specific. But, they offer 6 free goodies each Monday, which is TOTALLY FREAKING AWESOME.  They also offer really good specials every few months to get dozens of useful packages for like $50.

Canva – Create Pinterest and blogging graphics for free.

Learn How I Organize My Photographs

Photography Software

Photoshop – The mother of all graphics programs. $10 per month for Photoshop and Lightroom, or you can buy Photoshop Elements for $99.  I recommend Photoshop Elements for any budding photographer who wants a program more powerful than Microsoft Photo Editor, but not as expensive as Photoshop and Lightroom, i.e. great for just starting out.

GIMP – It’s free, and it’s good.

PhotoPlus Starter Edition – A good software that has a similar feel to Photoshop.

Paint.net – A free editing software by Microsoft, and kind of an upgrade to Paint.

InkScape – I don’t love Inkscape, but it’s free.

Photos – An Apple rivel to Photoshop.  I know nothing about this product, but I thought I would include it here for all the Apple fans.

Photography Pinterest Boards

Photography: Tips & Tricks for Bloggers – One of my own boards.  I would love it if you joined!  I pin high-quality content. 🙂

Free Flat-Lay Stock Photography Websites

IvoryMix – I love this site, and these photos. You can see several of them sprinkled around my Pinterest pins and my web site. Check them out! It’s a monthly club, and all are really high-end.

Wonderfelle – Wonderfelle gives you 10 free stock photos if you sign up to her mailing list, plus low-cost, high-end flat-lays.

Posh Stock Photography – Posh Stock offers a monthly subscription at about $12 (less, if you sign up for quarterly or yearly membership packages). You get about 25 new images every month. This service is a nice way to have changing scenery on your web site, although I find the packages a bit pricey for a monthly subscription — I don’t need 25 images every month. But the photos are gorgeous.

StyledStock – Free feminine stock photos.

Free General Stock Photography Websites

Pixabay – One of the best free (and I mean, really free) stock photo sites out there.  You can get lost looking for all of the goodies.
